Privacy Policy for MrWager.com
Last updated: 11 August 2026
1. Introduction
MrWager.com ("we," "our," or "us") publishes reviews of online casinos and the companies that operate them. This policy explains what we collect when you visit, what we do with it, and what you can ask us to do about it.
The short version: there is remarkably little to collect. No accounts, no newsletter, no games — so the only real question is analytics, and that is a choice you make and can change at any time. Most privacy policies in this industry are long because there is a lot to disclose. This one is short for the opposite reason.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Give Us
Only what you send us. If you email us — a correction, a complaint, a question — we keep that message and your address so we can reply. There is no form on this site, no registration and no subscription, so email is the only way you can pass us anything.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
When you visit, our infrastructure records the ordinary technical details every web server sees: your IP address, browser and operating system, the pages requested, the time, and the page that referred you. Our content delivery network also determines your country from your IP address, which we use to show which casinos accept players from where you are.
If you have accepted all cookies, Google Analytics additionally records how pages are used, in aggregate. If you have not, it does not run.
3. How We Use It
To keep the site working and secure, to understand which pages are read so we know what to write next, to show casino availability that is relevant where you are, and to answer you when you write to us. That is the complete list.
We do not build profiles of individual visitors, and we do not use this data to target advertising.
4. Cookies
We set three cookies of our own and load Google Analytics only with your consent. Each one is named, explained and dated in our Cookie Policy.
5. Sharing and Disclosure
We share data with the providers who run the site for us — our hosting and content delivery network, and Google Analytics where you have consented to it. We may disclose information where the law requires it, and information would transfer with the business if the site were sold.
We do not sell personal information.
6. Affiliate Links
We earn commission when a reader signs up with a casino through our links. Following such a link records that the click came from us — typically through a parameter in the address, handled by the casino, not by us. We are not told who you are or what you do once you arrive; we see only that a click happened.
Once you leave our site, that operator's privacy policy applies in place of this one.
7. Data Security
The site is served over HTTPS, and access to what little data we hold is restricted. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
8. Your Rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, object to how we use it, or ask for a copy in portable form. Write to privacy@mrwager.com.
If you are in the EEA or the UK, you also have the right to complain to your national data protection authority. Residents of California have the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, to opt out of sale — we do not sell — and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.
9. Legal Basis for Processing
For visitors in the EEA and the UK: analytics runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through Cookie settings. Everything else — keeping the site running, secure and readable — rests on our legitimate interest in operating it, and on our legal obligations where those apply.
10. Retention
Server and delivery-network logs are kept for a short period for security and diagnostics, then discarded. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics' own retention settings. Email correspondence is kept as long as needed to deal with the matter it concerns.
11. International Transfers
Our infrastructure providers operate globally, so data may be processed outside your country. Where that happens for visitors in the EEA or the UK, it is covered by the transfer mechanisms those providers maintain.
12. Children
This site is for adults. It is not intended for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we find that we have, we delete it.
13. Changes to This Policy
We update this page when our practices change. The date at the top shows when it was last revised. There is no mailing list to notify, so material changes are announced on the site itself.
